Notice Regarding COVID-19 (Corona Virus)

Updated March 24, 2020

Dear AMOCA Community,

In times of stress and uncertainty, museums and studios strive to offer a respite from the challenges of the world. While we had hoped to remain open to provide a place of solace for our community, we, like our peers around the world, are temporarily closing our doors to safeguard the health of our staff and visitors and to support the containment of COVID-19. What’s happening right now is bigger than any one institution, and we have a responsibility to proactively do our part.

The staff and board continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 using the best information available, including from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control.

The situation is changing day-to-day, and we will continue to update this page with news related to reopening. A list of cancellations and postponements are listed below.

Like everyone else, we look forward to a return to normalcy, and to welcoming guests back to AMOCA soon. We are grateful for your continued support, especially during this challenging time. If there’s anything we can do for you, please contact us.

Sincerely,

Beth Ann Gerstein, Executive Director
