December 8, 2020 • 12:30 PM EST
Alex Ehrlich, class of 1985, cordially invites you to an online engagement exclusively for the Ellis Community. From the comfort of your own home, enjoy a private, virtual tour of the American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) with the museum’s Executive Director Beth Ann Gerstein. The museum, a boutique institution located in Pomona, California, is the largest museum of ceramic art in the country and boasts a permanent collection of over 10,000 works. Gerstein will lead a guided gallery walk of the special exhibition Making in Between: Contemporary Chinese American Ceramics, which features works from six Chinese American ceramic artists exploring the theme of personal and cultural identity.
This event will be live and take place on Zoom. Participants will be able to interact with the host, with time at the end of questions.
