Hours & Admission

Governor Newsom announced on July 1, 2020 – LA county must close indoor museums due to risk of infection. These closures will remain in place for at least 3 weeks. We will update the reservation system as soon as we receive an update.

Click on the Book Now button to reserve your tickets. All visitors must book their tickets online in advance of their visit. Additional information will be announced shortly for the general public.

The Museum also offers free admission to museum colleagues (business card or staff badge is required), members of AAM and ICOM (membership card is required), and members of the media (business card or staff badge is required).

Holiday Hours

The Museum is closed annually on New Years Day (January 1), Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

From the 10 freeway, exit Garey Avenue and drive south (away from the foothills) approximately one mile. The museum is on the right side of Garey between Center Street and Monterey Avenue.

Visitors may use the AMOCA parking lot free of charge.

Public Transportation

AMOCA is a short walk from the South Pomona Metrolink station and transit center, located on the corner of 1st and Main Street. From the station, head North on Main Street and turn East on Monterey Street.

Wheelchair Access
AMOCA is wheelchair accessible and has handicap parking for those with handicap permits.

Blind or Visually Impaired Access
A member of our staff or a volunteer will provide a tour of the current exhibition. A selection of pieces may be available to touch depending on the nature of the exhibition. Please contact us in advance of your visit to make arrangements.

Hours

With social distancing requirements, the Ceramics Studio has shifted its offerings by expanding the number of private and semi-private studio spaces. Until further notice – studio memberships, on-site classes, and workshops have been canceled or postponed. We hope to offer a limited number of digital classes beginning this fall. To reserve a kiln in the Ceramics Studio or purchase supplies (for curbside pick up or local delivery) call 909-622-0464 or email hkreitchet@amoca.org.
