Visitor Information

The Museum will reopen to the public on June 19, 2021.

After over a year of virtual programming, we are thrilled to be open again starting on June 19, 2021. To celebrate our reopening and as a thank you to everyone who helped us get through the closure, complimentary admission through the end of August is available for all front-line workers, individuals working in health care, veterans, educators, students, and residents of the City of Pomona.

On June 19, AMOCA will be open from 11 AM–5 PM. Capacity at the museum will be limited and timed tickets required to visit. Last entry will be at 4 PM.

Starting June 20 and through the end of June, AMOCA will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 AM–4 PM. Through the end of July, capacity at the museum will be limited and reserving timed tickets is highly recommended. Last entry will be at 3 PM.

The Museum also offers free admission to museum colleagues (business card or staff badge is required), members of AAM and ICOM (membership card is required), and members of the media (business card or staff badge is required).

The Museum is closed annually on New Years Day (January 1), Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

From the 10 freeway, exit Garey Avenue and drive south (away from the foothills) approximately one mile. The museum is on the right side of Garey between Center Street and Monterey Avenue.

Visitors may use the AMOCA parking lot free of charge.

AMOCA is a short walk from the South Pomona Metrolink station and transit center, located on the corner of 1st and Main Street. From the station, head North on Main Street and turn East on Monterey Street.

Wheelchair Access
AMOCA is wheelchair accessible and has handicap parking for those with handicap permits.

Blind or Visually Impaired Access
A member of our staff or a volunteer will provide a tour of the current exhibition. A selection of pieces may be available to touch depending on the nature of the exhibition. Please contact us in advance of your visit to make arrangements.
