Foam Block Printing – A Family Workshop

Discover the story of block printing and create your own foam print as we explore our current exhibition, Fired in Revolution!

Learn the basic techniques of relief printing through foam paper for this easy and accessible workshop perfect for the whole family. From drawing your design to carving it into foam, we’ll walk you through how to make fun and one-of-a-kind prints!

This workshop is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary.

All materials and tools are provided. We recommend wearing clothes that can get a bit messy!

AMOCA’s family workshops are for all ages and everyone is welcome! Both adults and children will be given supplies to participate in the art project.

• Children and youth under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• Children 3 and under may join for free with paying adult
• Registration includes admission to the museum Saturday, March 28, so you might want to plan to arrive early or stay late to explore the museum. AMOCA is open from 11 AM -4 PM on Saturdays.

Workshop tickets are $15 per person ($10 for Pomona Residents or AMOCA Museum Members); registration includes instruction, materials, and admission to the museum the day of the workshop.
