Free Pedestal Pick-Up Day

Wednesday, August 13, 2025 • 10:00 AM –6:00 PM (or while supplies last) • In Person

• 10:30am update: Just 18 peds remaining! Come by soon if you want to pick up a ped or two!
• 11:30am update: 14 peds still waiting to be picked up! They’re pretty big, so bring a friend to help you lift and a truck to help you carry!
• 12:30pm update: Many big peds still waiting for you on the curb! Free! Pull up and load ’em up!

AMOCA is remodeling, and we have extra pedestals that we can no longer use. Come by the museum on Wednesday, August 13 and pick some up!

Free pedestals will be available in the AMOCA parking lot; pick up is on Wednesday, August 13, between 10 AM and 6 PM. Select the pedestals you’d like, and take them back to your studio, home, or display area. No reservations are needed, just stop by during pick-up hours and choose some peds.

Pedestal pick up is first come, first served. No holds!

Peds will be available beginning at 10 AM, pick up will continue through 6pm or while supplies last. This web page will be updated on August 13 if pedestals are no longer available.

Peds vary in size, shape, and weight. Depending on the peds you select, a truck and some muscles may be needed to transport your pedestals.

Please note:

• No holds! Pedestal pick up is first come, first served
• Peds will be available beginning at 10am on August 13
• Peds vary in size, from 8×8″ to 48″x24″
• AMOCA staff are not available to help lift or secure your peds
• Straps or packing supplies are not provided
• Plan ahead! We suggest you bring a friend, a dolly, and/or some straps make sure your ped(s) are safe and securely transported
• Peds available while supplies last! If all the peds are taken before 6pm, we will update this web page.
