Family Day: Slit-Slot Sculpture Workshop

Transform two-dimensional paper into three-dimensional vessels in this family day workshop for all ages! Design, cut, and combine paper to build your own slotted sculpture as we explore form and function from our current show, Hot & Ready to Serve.  Learn the difference between shape and form, functional and sculptural, organic and geometric in this introductory exploration 2-D composition and 3-D visualization.

Your $6-$20 (sliding scale) ticket price includes workshop materials, instruction, and museum admission. Participation is discounted ($1-$15 sliding scale) for our neighbors living in the City of Pomona with proof of residency.

AMOCA’s family workshops are for all ages and everyone is welcome! Both adults and children will be given supplies to participate in the art project.

• Children and youth under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• Slit-Slot Sculpture tickets may be purchased at time of arrival as space allows, but pre-registration is highly encouraged
