Family Activity: Storytime in the Gallery

Saturday, November 15, 2025 • 11:30 AM–12:30 PM • In Person • $0-$10

Join us for storytime in the gallery in partnership with the Pomona Public Library! Children will enjoy a story and complementary age-appropriate art activity while viewing AMOCA’s exhibition Making in Between: indigenous Americans.

This month we’re reading “We are Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom and Michaela Goade. Guests will get to learn more about the importance of water in our lives based on the Ontario Museum’s exhibition “Built on Water” and create a simple, fun art project that kids will love.

Registration includes admission to the museum on Saturday, November 15.

Storytime in the Gallery is geared towards children ages 2-8, but all are welcome to participate in the art activity. Caregivers must be present.

The story portion of the program is free, with a materials fee for guests ages 4+ to participate in the art activity.

Space is limited and registration is required. Please register each child and caregiver individually.

AMOCA’s family activities are for all ages and everyone is welcome! Both adults and children who register for the Art Activity will be given supplies to participate in the art project.
